Felicity is a British actress that gained notoriety for her role as Jane Hawking, the protagonist of The Theory of Everything. Jones began acting at her 12th birthday and has been in many plays TV shows and films. Her career began with The television production The Treasure Seekers. The actress gained acclaim for her acting in movies including The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. It was, however, the performance she gave in The Theory of Everything that brought her an Oscar for the first time. Jones was widely praised for her performance as Hawking's first wife. It was inspired by the life story of Stephen Hawking. Inferno was the Tom Hanks thriller was her following role. Inferno was a thriller starring Tom Hanks. British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles gave Jones her the British Artist of the Year in 2016 due to her extraordinary talent and contribution to film.
