Dwayne is the pastor in charge for Wellspring Church in Charlotte NC which he planted in 2007. He is a board member of Acts 29 Network he is the Director of Pastoral Care. Dwayne is driven to train future generations of Biblical counselors. He is a part of the board for Biblical Counseling. He is the author of several online articles as well as co-author of Christ Centered Biblical Counseling: Transformation of Lives through God's Unchangeable Word (eds. Kelleman & Viars). Dwayne is married to Leslie. The couple has three children.
