Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13th 1962) is an American actor from the United States. Her film debut was during the 1983 film Bad Boys she became known for her role in the Brat Pack group of actors and starred as a character in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) and Short Circuit (1986). Her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actor. Ally Sheedy has been an American writer and actor for more than 20 years. She started her career in film by appearing in the crime-drama film Bad Boys in the early 1980s, for which she was praised. The film, which was helmed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other well-known actors like Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. After her debut film She was in 1985's comedy-drama film The Breakfast Club. John Hughes's film The Breakfast Club is considered as among the best high school films. Even though the film's budget was just $1 million, it grossed more than $50 millions. In the meantime she started appearing on various TV shows, including CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first television appearance. The show was for teenagers that started airing from April 1980. Other shows on TV she was in are Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. A few of her most recent appearances include Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse a film about the superhero X-Men that she appears in as an appearance. Sheedy, for her incredible performances won many awards. Sheedy was awarded the MTV Movie Awards' silver Bucket of Excellence Award 2005.
