Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four children born on August 9, 1976, from Beaumont Puy de Domme. Her parents who were dental surgeons along with a teacher, recognized and supported her interest in the theatre and dramatic arts at an early age, which outweighed her desire to become a primatologist due to her obsession with monkeys. As a young woman, her rise to stardom was fast and punctuated by the beginning of her achievement. When she completed her education, she participated in the French TV show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers. She took home the award for the title of Best Young Actress at Beziers Festival of Young Actors and began her career acting as an actress. Tautou went to her school, the Institut Catholique de Paris, and attended the Catholic Church as she was a child. She has since moved away from her religious background. She has stated that she is not an official Catholic. She has pursued a modeling career alongside her acting career and is the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc and Chanel is often called the Chanel Muse. In addition to her acting career she also has a keen interest in photography. The actress recently showed some photos during the Arles Film Festival, under the title Superficial. She is a photographer who focuses on stars, fame and press that scrutinized her after her fame-making debut with Amelie. There are also numerous photographs of her own self. Audrey Tautou became a star and became famous internationally with her debut performance as Amelie Poulain on the movie Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain. Amelie is a global box-office triumph, and was lauded at awards galas around the globe. It remains the highest grossing French language film in the US. After that film, the actress appeared in numerous films, from British dramatics, to Jean Pierre Jeunet's film Un long dimanche de fauncailles. After that, she shifted to Hollywood and co-starred with Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code.
